The CIMASUB TOUR explores new destinations. Vitoria, Beasain and Lazkao debut together with Irun in January
The International Underwater Festival (CIMASUB) kicks off the year with a varied and exciting offer for lovers of the underwater world. During the month of January, the CIMASUB Tour 24/25 will bring screenings, exhibitions and educational activities to various locations, bringing the beauty and secrets of the seabed to audiences of all ages.
Vitoria-Gasteiz: 1st Edition
For the first time, CIMASUB will be coming to the capital of Alava with a programme that promises to surprise attendees. The activities will take place at the Florida cinemas:
- Underwater cinema screenings: 14, 21 and 28 January at 19:00h.
- Photographic exhibition: from 14th to 28th January.
- Txikiziklo Submarino: educational activity for students, on 27 January.
Beasain: 1st Edition
Beasain also joins the CIMASUB Tour for the first time. The activities will take place at the Usurbe Theatre:
- Underwater film screenings: 15th, 22nd and 29th January at 19:00.
- Photographic exhibition: from 15 to 29 January, Monday to Sunday from 18:00 to 20:00.
- Txikiziklo Submarino: an educational session with screenings and a talk aimed at students, on 22nd January.
Irun: 41st Edition
Irun continues to consolidate its position as one of the most emblematic venues of CIMASUB. This year, the screenings will be held at the Amaia Cultural Centre for three consecutive days:
- Underwater film screenings: 15, 16 and 17 January at 19:00h.
Txindoki Residence - Lazkao: 1st Edition
In a more intimate format, Lazkao joins the CIMASUB Tour with an activity aimed at the residents of the Txindoki old people's home and their families:
- Underwater cinema screenings: 27 January.
